Newcomers’ Lunch Sunday June 17th
Every so often we invite all our newcomers to the Church to join us for a light lunch in a relaxed atmosphere to meet other newcomers and find out a little more about the Church. Our next lunch is on Sunday 17th June and we would be really pleased if you could join us for a light lunch in the Lower Lounge from 12-1.30pm. If you have filled in a Welcome Card I have your details and will send you an invitation. If you haven’t filled in a Welcome Card please will you do so and I can invite you too; the cards are kept on the table just inside the entrance to the Church, or speak to one of the Stewards, and, when completed, the card can be put in the box on the same table. We do hope that all newcomers will join us for lunch and children will also be very welcome; if you have already made contact with another newcomer please invite them to join us as well.
For the foreseeable future if you want to alter or add someone to the Prayer Sheet, I would be grateful if you could let me have the information no later than Wednesday night please. Thank you. Carol Stringer

Children and Family Worker
Having advertised for a full time Children and Family Worker in March we had a relatively modest number of responses and only one candidate whom we shortlisted for interview. After much careful consideration we decided not to offer the position to this candidate. We are now reviewing our options, including potential changes in the job terms/description and will be re-advertising the position as soon as practical, having consulted with those interested in any potential changes.
