Our Story
Epsom’s Town Centre Church with a heart for Community
Since opening on Ashley Road in 1914, Epsom Methodist Church has been at the heart of local life, supporting soldiers during World War I, leading gathered worship services, Sunday schools, organising outdoor events on the church’s grounds and serving as the base for the 7th Epsom (Methodist) Scout Group. Over the decades Epsom Methodist Church has established itself as a resilient and inclusive hub for worship, Christian study, teaching and social outreach in Epsom.
In 1998, the church welcomed a growing and thriving Chinese Congregation (CCEMC) and International Congregation (IC) which seeks to unite worshippers of all cultures, with a particular focus on those of East Asian heritage.
