Epsom Methodist Church (EMC) is an Eco Church, registered with A Rocha, embedding sustainability into worship, buildings, land, and community life. Awarded Silver Eco Church in 2021, EMC promotes sustainable living through community talks, sharing weekly eco tips, generating energy from our solar panels, recycling and increasing biodiversity in our green spaces.

The Little Garden, opened in 2025, is a peaceful, organic space with raised beds, bee-friendly flowers, herbs, vegetables for Roots Coffee Shop, insect hotels, bird and bat boxes, and hedgehog routes. Supervised children can explore and take a quiz to earn Eco stickers.

These initiatives support Target 25, protecting species and habitats while deepening discipleship and community engagement.
