Prayer

 
God loves to meet with us as we pray. We are encouraged to talk to God about all the things that worry or concern us and to thank him for all the good things that we are grateful for. As we pray, we can listen to God too – maybe he will reassure us about a situation, show us a good way forward or remind us of how much he loves us. 
 
If you would like to pray, but are unsure what to say, you may like to pray the Lord’s Prayer. This is the prayer that Jesus taught his disciples:
 
Our Father in heaven
Hallowed be your name
Your kingdom come
Your will be done
On earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For the Kingdom, the power,
And the glory are yours
Now and for ever.
Amen.
