Get in Touch

If you are new and would just like to know a bit more about our church ("EMC") why not come along to our coffee shop one morning and look around?  If you would like to meet a minister to learn more about EMC just fill in the "Contact Us form", or if you would like to subscribe to our newsletter complete the "Newsletter Request" form.

Where and When we meet on a Sunday

We meet at the Church Building (details below) for our Sunday services starting at  9am, 10.30am 2pm . You can read about the different types of service are here. For your first visit, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early.  Our small car park can get very busy, so if you are able, please do give yourself time to park in one of the local car parks and then come along and find a seat before the service begins.  (For details of car parking at EMC and nearby please see the "Car Parking" page).  When you arrive, you should be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team who will be wearing a Welcome lanyard.

We serve tea, coffee and biscuits after the 10.30am service. It is a great way to meet people, or simply take time to find your bearings. All refreshments are free.  There is an opportunity to receive prayer at the end of the service.

Plan your journey:

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up. There are accessible toilets in the main foyer.

Current Arrangements
We are live streaming the service at 9.00am and  10.30am every Sunday morning and this can be viewed live by subscribing to our weekly newsletter and following the link provided or by viewing the service on YouTube (generally available by 4pm on that Sunday).  For more information see our Sunday Services page of this website.

What about my kids?
At Epsom Methodist Church we enjoy the buzz of little voices in our church services and under fours are welcome to use our play area at the back of the church during services.

For primary school age children we have our KidZone provision, which starts at 10:30am on a Sunday and includes games, songs, Bible stories, discussion and crafts.  It finishes at 11:10am, at which point the children come to join with the rest of the church for worship.

Seniour school aged young people are invited to take part in our monthly micro-church.  Please ask a member of the team for details.
Also, look out for our community worship services, where the whole 10:30am service is geared towards all aged worship, and keep an eye on the children's and families section of this website for other activities for young people.

Getting Connected

Small Groups

While Sundays are a great way to meet new people, it is often in smaller gatherings that you can really get to know someone. Being part of one of our small groups allows you to make new friends, share together and support each other. We have a variety of groups that meet throughout the week, some afternoons and some evenings. Check out Small Groups and see if there’s one that you could join, or we can put you in touch with a group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group.

Serving and Volunteering

If you want to get involved in the life of the church and help us make Sundays run smoothly, you can sign up to serve on a team.

Other Ministries

We also are involved in the community with a number of projects including the Foodbank, Hope into Action (for homeless), an annual charity book fair and others.  More details are in our "Activities at EMC" page under "What's on".
