The Emmaus Project
The Emmaus Project is a two-year project that helps and equips local churches and their members to talk about and share their faith.
On 1st October around 30 of us were part of a session with Andy Frost of
Share Jesus International who introduced the project. Andy will be joining us at the 9am and 10.30am services on 19th October so that the whole church can hear more about this initiative.
We also have three 'eat and meet' discussion sessions from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesdays 12th, 19th and 26th November. During these sessions Andy will be working with us on practical ideas, for us as individuals and for the whole church together, to make sharing faith integral and relevant to our circumstances here in Epsom.

Christmas Together
Christmas Together has been an annual celebration at EMC on Christmas Day for many years. Volunteers from the church and local community help to make this a very special and popular event. A Christmas meal with all the trimmings, a quiz, a Christmas sing song and the King's speech all together make this a special and happy event. Transport is provided for those who need it and everyone leaves with a packed Christmas goodie bag and big smiles!
Christmas Together is supported by generous donations from a local charity and supermarket. The Sri Raja Rajeswari Amman Hindu Temple in Stoneleigh also kindly contribute a large number of gifts every year.
This is a wonderful community event and we hope it will continue in the years to come.

Holiday at Home

Every August for the last five years (apart from 2020) we have run 'Holiday at Home' for the elderly members of our congregation and many friends who would not otherwise be able to go away for their own holiday. To find out what has gone on in previous years, click here and take a look at our travel journal.
Summer 2025 sees the current Holiday at Home team completing their 5th year of adventures and standing down from organizing the event. If anyone is interested in finding out more, possibly with a view to picking up the baton and maybe joining in the planning and preparation for next year, please contact Jane Barden and Pam Brogan.
